At CAT Australia, we stand behind our products. CAT shoes and apparel each come with a warranty against any faults with materials or workmanship. Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law because we want you to be happy with your purchase.READ FULL ARTICLE
Please read the following carefully regarding CAT warranties:
CAT will accept product returns for industrial shoes (6 months), lifestyle shoes (6 months) and apparel (3 months) and provide you with an exchange or refund (refunds only available for items purchased via catworkwear.com.au where:
• The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or
• The product is not fit for its intended purpose, or
• The product does not match the sample or our description; and
• You can present your receipt or other adequate proof of purchase
CAT does not accept returns for problems as a result of regular wear and tear, or for problems caused by improper use.
Why are my shoes/boots squeaky?
Occasionally we do get feedback that the shoes are squeaky. This is not actually a manufacturing fault, but a pocket of air which is trapped between the insole and the outsole. Try taking the insole out, sprinkle talcum powder on the base and leave overnight to settle, then next day shake out the excess talc. This should get rid of the squeaking!

Which model has a steel toe?
We've made it super easy to identify the difference between our boots.
All of our safety toe styles will be marked with an ST (steel toe) or CT (composite toe) in their name on the website.

How do I clean my shoes/boots?
Need to keep your shoes/boots squeaky clean? We've got you covered.
We recommend brushing away any surface dirt with our Block & Brush kit on a regular basis. This will help to keep the footwear looking its best! After extended, rugged use, wash with mild soap and warm water. Be sure to rinse all soap off as it is hydrophilic. (Do not soak the shoes or get any leather parts wet for too long).
Open the shoes fully and remove the insoles and laces and let them dry at room temperature. (Never expose them to heat!).
Recommended treatment depends on the construction and material of the footwear. Many treatments do slightly alter the colour and appearance of the shoes.
Our instant Shine Sponge is perfect for a quick clean and shines in between polishing. This sponge is suitable for travel and everyday use and will last for 50 to 100 pairs of shoes. This sponge should only be used on smooth leather and not for suede, nubuck or fabrics.

If the item is listed on the website, it is generally still in stock, however, we cannot guarantee as our stock levels are constantly fluctuating.

CAT stands behind all the products that we produce with an assurance of quality materials and workmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear, improper care, improper use, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and/or use.
Our Boots/Shoes carry a manufacturing warranty of 6 months and Apparel has a 3-month warranty, which we consider to be fair wear.
If you believe any purchased items may have a manufacturing fault, please follow the below steps.
If purchased from a CAT stockist please take them back to the place of purchase, they will need to assess them for you and handle the warranty process.
If you purchased your item from the CAT Australia Online store, please contact our Customer Experience Team below so they can proceed with the claim. You will be asked to provide proof of purchase as well as photographs that clearly display the fault.READ FULL ARTICLE
Unfortunately, we get our shoes complete from the manufacturer, we do not currently stock replacement laces in Australia.
We advise visiting your local shoe repair store as they often stock a variety of laces.
